In line with the values, teachings, and passions of our visionary family member Morris Barefield, the scholarships that we award in his honor target students who are community service minded, education focused, future driven, and who recoginize the significance and value enhancing ones quality of life. 

We established a scholarship to assist students as they transition to and through the halls of academia.  Assistance is contingent upon the financial resources available for the year.   Please participate in Family Reunion Fundraising by purchasing an ad for the souvenir booklet, raffle tickets, or by making direct contributions to our Scholarship Fund on the Donations Page. Through these efforts, we will be able to provide more scholarships. Please download and complete the application if you are interested in applying.
